What our guests say

Kathryn R | 2018 Chevrolet Equinox

Confirmed Service Customer

From the first call to schedule my windshield replacement, I was treated professionally. When body shop staff knew I needed an oil change, they made the arrangements. The PDQ staff were so professional and arranged for new tires. Brock was so courteous and helpful. When I picked up my vehicle, it was a busy time with Trunk or Treat but staff treated me so well and went out of their way to help. Excellent service!

Craig C in sales and the Body Shop staff (from receptionist to those who prepared estimate) all helped me through the process to replace my destroyed GMC and lower my stress level. I made it home with my new Denali and look forward to setting up all my preferences in the infotainment center system! Thanks to everyone including the lady assisting Craig with the paperwork!

Estimation Process

The first step on your way to getting your vehicle repaired is to meet with one of our highly trained Customer Service Representatives (CSR). You will be asked a few questions about the accident and the method of payment for the damages, but as always, our estimates are free. We may also discuss how the repair process will proceed if you have your vehicle repaired by Rydell Auto Body and Glass, along with rental vehicle options and any insurance questions. 3

Metal Repair Process

Once your vehicle comes to our shop for repairs, we will first inspect all of the parts in comparison to your vehicle, this ensures that you will get back the same looking vehicle as it was prior to the accident. Then one of our I-CAR Gold Certified metal technicians will complete all the body work in accordance with your vehicle's OEM guidelines. As part of the repair, we will inspect for any additional damage that could have been missed during the initial estimate and make sure there is no structure damage that could lead to ill-fitting parts or damage further down the road. We will then prime the repaired area and get it ready to be painted.

4

Paint Process

When the vehicle arrives at our in-house paint department, we will mask off any areas that we do not want to be painted. Our paint technicians will then prep all the repaired panels to ensure that the paint will have a flawless finish, free of dust or debris. When the vehicle is ready to be sprayed with our Standox Waterborne Paint we will pull it into our state-of-the-art, IR material drying paint booths where we will apply the proper amount of paint in accordance with your vehicles OEM specifications.

5

Buff & Reassembly

When your vehicle comes out of the paint booth, we will then buff the painted area to remove any "dirt nibs" that may have been in the paint. At this time, we will also inspect the paint color and texture to ensure that it matches the unpainted panels of your vehicle. Once the buffing is completed, we will move it back to the Metal Technician to begin reassembly on your vehicle. We are reaching the end of the repair process, and your vehicle is almost back to you. When reassembly is completed, the technician will inspect the repaired area to ensure proper fit and color and test drive the vehicle to guarantee that you are getting back the best quality as possible.

6

Complimentary Detail

When your vehicle is fully repaired, we will perform a complete exterior wash along with an express interior wipe down. We will hand wash the complete exterior with our in-house wash bay using soft head brushes and a mild detergent, once we have washed your vehicle, we will hand dry the exterior and the door jams. We will then vacuum the carpets and seats and wipe down the interior surfaces to ensure you are completely satisfied with your repair. Now that your vehicle is repaired, we will give you a call and even start your vehicle in the winter if you want.
